We were proud to be invited by the MSTOA to attend their annual SWAT training event in Montana. Held at Fort William Henry Harrison National Guard base and at their new Montana Law Enforcement Training Academy operation where every aspect of SWAT training was undertaken by multiple teams from across the regions Law Enforcement operations.
We are delighted to confirm that the SAM mannequin targets were a complete success and in the words of one of the FBI HRT trainers attending the days were “a complete game changer in how we can train SWAT operations”
A total of three targets were used in the training and were extremely effective in helping train the officers especially in the critical shoot or no shoot decision making as well as the post engagement training area where dealing with the suspect post engagement is just as vital as the decision to fire.
We also got the opportunity to present to the senior officers from multiple law enforcement agencies as to the value of adopting the mannequin targets for future training operations.
We look forward to continuing to work with the MSTOA in future training operations.
